McDonald's Lemon Tree Drive-Thru — Restaurant in Gauteng

This has to by far the worst Takeaway experience I have ever had. I got to the store and ordered at those ordering machines. The card machine was off and the machine prompted me to go pay at the till. Getting to the till there was a few people looking my way but no attempt was made to assist me untill the one guy came and said if I want to pay I must pay at the mc Cafe kiosk. I went to that kiosk just to be told her card machine doesn't work in have to go back to the till I just came from. When I got back to that till I told the lady I do not appreciate the runaround. I ordered a quarter pounder with no garnish and mustard on it. Getting home I found the garnish I asked to please not be added nicely hidden in between 2 layers of cheese. The buns was stale and had scraped off or pre melted cheese on it. The bottom bun was like toast. First of all this started out as a horrible customer service experience. The lady at the drive thru counter was not listening to what I was say about redeeming vouchers , and she canceled my order which effectively caused me to lose the points I spent to redeem the offer.

Then I asked for the store manager and another lady came and again was not listening as they just assumed they knew and proceeded to make the situation worst .

I left the drive thru and went in store to resolve this this. I was greeted by another lady not sure who she was but she was the star of the evening ! She put in an effort to resolve the matter so that everyone would be no worst off. In the end I wasted allot of unessary time but because of the actions of that one lady I received all my meals which was ordered and I will continue to support this Mc Donald's...

Well today 16th Youth day had to meet a client and my battery died.

So as I do and spend money on breakfasts at the Alberton Macdonalds most days of the week I thought I could pop in ask if I could plug my cell in and find out if I was at the right Mac D's....

Guess what I was told "no" because I'm not a customer and yet a week or so ago I gave a good review there.

So Mac Donald's Lemon Tree you won't see me again ever and I will have all my contacts informed.

Don't get me wrong I know at times it's frustrating that non payers want to do this ....but I literally wanted to plug communicate and then leave..

My experience at every take away or restaurant in alberton has always been great and staff amazing ....perhaps this was a person wanting to show she had power and needed to exert it .
