McDonald's Northmead — Restaurant in Gauteng

Absolutely pathetic service. A drive-through or fast food restaurant is supposed to be quick.

Not this one. I’ve been here several times and had to wait 20-40 minutes for just a simple burger. Sometimes longer. I’ve actually timed it, it takes far less time to drive up to McDonald’s on Great North road. Order and still be back home, than driving down the road to this one and sitting and waiting for every single item you order. Mind you 90% of the times I’ve come here I was literally the only person at the drive through

The staff are more worried about up-selling large or extra large meals than actually listening properly and getting the order correct. The several times I’ve been here, aside from the ridiculous waiting time, not once have they got the order right the first time. And when you ask them to correct it, they look at you and give you attitude like you did something wrong. Either these staff members haven’t been properly trained or somehow this McDonald’s just hired the worst ones but either way…

Don’t waste your time and effort coming to this McDonald’s, it’s literally quicker and easier to just drive up the road and not deal with sub-standard service and ridiculous waiting times. Never did I think I’d write a review for a McDonald’s but this one deserves 0...

I placed an order on 18 April 2025 via the mcdelivery app 1970346-18/04/2025-99640

The order was placed and paid for at 18h13. When placing my order I couldn't order fries which pushed my order amount up as only waffel fries were available with our meals.

Despite this I ordered anyway. The delivery time on the order was 18h45 to 19h00

Unfortunately the order arrived at my home that is less than 2kms away at 19h22. That's more than. An hour after ordering

The food that was a treat for my family arrived here ICE COLD and indelible.

I tried calling your customer care which has been discontinued. I tried the app which wouldn't take my details. I tried calling the driver who failed to answer.

I understand you get busy however if you too busy to deliver warm food with in the time you set then close yourself out to orders instead.

This is by far the absolute worse meal I have ever had from McDonald's and was meant to be a treat landed up being absolutely...

Had a terrible experience at the McDonald's this morning, ordered at 11:11 and when the lady came to the window to hand me my food I realized that there was still a 6 piece nuggets and 2 fries missing.I made her aware and she left and came back with only the nuggets so I kindly told her that I still needed the two fries that I ordered AND PAID FOR,where she then just rudely shrugged her shoulders and walked away.I sat there waiting for a while thinking that she will come back with the two fries but that never happened.It is so disheartening to see the lack of customer service at this place.This is definitely not the first time that I've had a bad experience here too.Will definitely...
