I visited this coffee shop on Sunday hoping to order a blended iced latte (not coffee powder but actual espresso) which is something I’ve had at Plato Coffee using the essentially the same equipment but was flatly told, “We don’t do that here,” with no explanation or offer of an alternative. When the manager overheard and stepped in, he merely repeated the same refusal in a terse, unhelpful manner. The shop itself is has decent pastries, but their unwillingness to accommodate a simple menu request (blended iced drinks with actual espresso are standard elsewhere) or offer an alternative in a friendly, helpful tone was very disappointing. Ordered a salted caramel hot chocolate and chicken mayo sandwich WITHOUT AVO for TAKEAWAY. The salted caramel hot chocolate gave me an allergic reaction. They did not listen to my food order. They brought my sandwich on a plate and I told them it was takeaway so they put it in a paper bag. They also gave me a chicken mayo and AVO sandwich that I specifically did not ask for.
