I’ve been to this & Bean three times now, and each visit has been absolutely amazing! The food is always fresh, delicious, and deserving of a 10/10 rating. The pricing is affordable, which makes the experience even better.

A special shoutout to Moses, the waiter, who has served me every time I’ve been here. He is fast, efficient, and consistently provides exceptional service. He checks in regularly to make sure everything is perfect and truly makes the dining experience enjoyable. Honestly, Moses is one of the reasons I keep coming back!

Manager Elliot was very friendly and helpful ensuring my takeaway order was good quality and personalised - his instructions to the team: 'muffin straight from the oven and chai latte with cinnamon on top, extra extra hot'. If it wasn't for their high standard and quality, I may not have returned due to their prices. R49 for a plain muffin and R49 for a chai latte is quite steep in comparison to other cafe in competition. Lots of seating both outside and indoors. Upstairs there are couches, tables and a fire place. Lots of staff ready to help and service was quick. A new place to Hillcrest Boulevard but already it's very popular and buzzing.

Came in this morning for what was meant to be a quick takeaway. Ended up waiting much longer than neccesarry. The waiter kept passing me by like they weren't bothered, this after i had settled the bill, and continued to wait. When i eventually called him over to ask what was happeninf with my order, he casually mentioned he had mixed up the orders, and the person who had my food had left the store. Tried to offer me the other persons order and i refused as that's not what i was there for in the first place. They went and spoke to the manager, who never bothered to come to the table and apologise on the waiter's behalf. I asked for a refund, which was partially done. Horrible...
