My Local Bar & Grill (Murphy's Law) — Restaurant in Gauteng

Terrible service and terrible hygiene. My friends and I went for breakfast at this restaurant (I use this term very loosely). The waitress was very impatient and rude when taking our orders. On the menu, mushrooms are R10.00 but, after requesting the bill, the waitress charged me R15.00. When I asked her about the inconsistency, she immediately told me I was wrong before checking the menu. After she checked the menu, she returned and said: "the menu is old", with an attitude without any sign of remorse or apology. I wish the trauma ended there, however, she continued to bring us dirty plates (see image attached). Ewww right, dirty plates and cutlery. Do not eat here, I repeat, DO NOT EAT HERE. Just when I thought things could not get worst. The waitress came back to our table and requested my friend remove his hat. We asked her why then she left our table mumbling "it's not allowed". Huh ? since when do restaurants not allow hats? Bear in mind, we were seated outside in the blazing sun. I've never felt so unwelcome, unappreciated and disrespected like this at a restaurant. At this point, we were ready to leave and requested she calls the manager. She informed us that the manager just left. We asked a different waiter and that waiter pointed out that the manager was not only still there but seated two tables away from us. The waiter told the manager we requested him but the manager was too busy on the phone to assist customers. How disappointing. My friends and I paid the bill and left without our food. If the service is a reflection of the culture and standards that Murphy's law upholds then I don't even want to see what their food looks like. I am not one to complain a lot or write reviews but I want to warn others about this horrible restaurant. I don't think the people are horrible but if they want to survive in this industry, the management needs to seriously change the culture and standard. I was very upset with the service we received. Our waitress was very rude and incompetent. She did not know what she was doing and could not even answer simple questions. When we requested that an item we were charged for but had not received please be removed she said it’s not possible to remove the item since the slip had been printed and expected us to pay for it. She then proceeded to tell other waiters to be stand offish towards us. We could not even get a takeaway bag and she told us that they didn’t have any at the restaurant yet we saw other customers receive it so we found a different waiter and asked (the 3rd time) only to receive it. Guys, please do not be rude to customers because they are wearing bennie hats, its winter and you don't have any heaters or lit fireplace at your premises.

And you chase customers away because they're wearing a bennie hat to compact the winter and enjoy your premises.

On the 24th of July we were badly treated here and told to get lost, lady and a guy waiters, they said "rules are rules". No bennie here. Does not care they dont have heaters or fire just get lost.

Well rules are rules but why would you want customers to get sick. No heater, no lit fireplace and you chase us out because we're wearing bennies?
