Nando's Kyalami Corner Drive Thru — Restaurant in Gauteng

The Kyalami corner branch is no great! Staff members were friendly from the moment my daughter and I walked in to the moment we sadly walked out. Usually, service is slow when dining in at any restaurant, but our order took less than 20 minutes, which is fast compared to the wait at McDonald's and other places. The place was clean and spacious as is any Nando's. What my daughter liked most of all, was the decor and design of this particular branch. To us, it didn't feel like a casual Jozi lunch at Nando's, it felt like a whole experience! The decor, chairs, tables, designs and architecture are amazing. Hats off to whoever designed it! Let's not forget the food! It was truly exceptional. What makes it great and different from other restaurants is the simplicity of it. Went through this drive through today after having a huge choice of franchises to eat from we settled on Nandos as an option for a meal - wow what a disappointment! As we approached the window asked if they have kids meal options with a toy after all the kids need something to keep entertained while eating and the woman in the window says no toys here we just have food for kids??? So we drive away, I can’t understand why this franchise hasn’t adopted this practice of having something for the kids to do maybe colouring in page or something to win over the heart of the little consumer - can’t tell you how many times we land up at competitors simply because our child has made a connection with the brand through the way their needs are meant in their very own little kingdom of childhood - sad cause their food is great but guess we won’t be back any time soon! Where do i start? I eat Nando’s at least once a week. I’ve never had an issue with Nando’s before until this Nando’s. This has to be one of the worst Nando’s you could possibly go to. I’ve eaten here 3 times and EVERY SINGLE TIME, they will give you THE smallest piece of chicken!!! I’ve expressed 3 times that this chicken is ridiculously small compared to all the other nando’s . Okay that’s one. Two, you ask for extra sauce and they don’t give you any, until you send it back to the kitchen. Three, there’s empty chilli salt on the tables.
