Nando's Malibongwe Drive Thru — Restaurant in Gauteng

I have been supporting this Nandos for the past 23 years but on this occasion, I arrived at the Nandos at 19:05 and I stood in a queue. By the time I got to the front to place my order, it was 19:20 and I opted to eat in but was told that they are not allowing eat-ins and that it is only take-aways that they are allowing so I decided to leave and go to another Nandos closer to my house where I could buy it and eat it while it's warm when I get home. I have been to this specific Nandos later than the time that I arrived and was served on this occasion and I was still allowed to eat in. There were 2 couples that were sitting at tables waiting for their orders which means that they are allowed to eat in so I cannot understand the discrepancy. Update on 01/10/2024: I went to the Nandos on Malibongwe Drive again last night and I ordered a quarter chicken with peri wedges. The chicken was cold and not fully cooked. I could see the redness inside the chicken. I ended up not eating everything and just left. The wedges were fine though. There was also no sauce that I could just take from the shelves because they were put away before I got there and I got there at around 19:30. Not the drive thru, the restaurant. Horrible service, sauce station had two bottles of olive oil...period. It took extremely long to receive a couple of bowls...10 minutes after people who ordered much later than us. Very unfriendly staff who blatantly ignored me when asking for one bottle of extra sauce for the table. For a table of 5 people only one serviette was provided and not any one the tables, yes plural, TABLES (as in all of them) not having one serviette. I am extremely unsatisfied and I would not recommend this to my deceased dogs aunty. The size of the portion was about big enough to satiate a toddler who isn't the mood for food. Who ever is in charge of portion sizes at Nandos, please learn the difference between a starter and a main course portion size OR alternatively stop using the marketing stating 'larger portions'. What an absolutely shocking experience. Staff was rude, overcrowded and no social distancing. The couldn't find my order anywhere even though it was on The screen in bright red. Talking to each other I'm their own language they only start to prepare the order well after I demanded the check their call I'm order. I literally see them send a box back to remove the chicken and call them our on it. After waiting with people cutting the line I get my order and it's wrong. I bring it to their attention and they say there is nothing they can do about it. I go to my car call customer service while in the parking lot. She says I must wait she will call the store and then call me so I wait in the parking lot. No one cAlls no one comes out they actually lock up and get ready to leave.
