Nando's Waterfall Drive Thru — Restaurant in Gauteng

I have been a very regular customer at the Nando's in the Waterfall area and I have previously given excellent reviews on the quality of their food. There is no doubt that their food is amazing but if it is going to cost you your safety then its really not worth the few hundreds that you spend there. On the 9th of December 2023 at approximately 15:30, I went in with my family to eat at this Nando's, the food on this day took around 45 minutes to arrive, the waitress did apologise for the delay. When I was done eating and I was walking towards my car at the Nandos's parking lot I was told by a gentleman that our cars have been broken into, the window at the back was smashed open and there was glass everywhere. I could not believe it and I lost so many valuables on this day to the value of almost R10000 because I had just stopped by after my shopping at the mall, not forgetting the window repair that also costed me. We then went in to the store to ask for the footage and we were told to come with the officers. I then had to open a case for this at the police station. Please note that this is not the first time I witnessed a crime event in this Nando's. Some time this year a gentlemans cellphone was snatched from his hand while he was seated at a table with his child and eating. The staff on that day went on like nothing happened. It was so traumatizing for the customer but nobody seemed to care. I will never be going to this Nando's ever again. It is utterly disappointing to be so in inconvenienced over a plate of food. My wife and I were looking for a peaceful spot to work, enjoy coffee, and have lunch — and Nando’s in Waterfall did not disappoint. The store was clean, and we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff from the moment we arrived. From the cashier to the waitresses, everyone was smiling and attentive throughout our visit.

We each had a cappuccino, reasonably priced at R26 each. While they were decent, there’s room for improvement — but no complaints. For lunch, my wife had the Quarter Chicken and Chips, while I went for the Quarter Chicken & Hotpot Rice Grande Meal. Both dishes were served quickly and were absolutely delicious — full marks for the food!

During my wife’s online meeting, we asked if they could lower the music, and they kindly obliged. Multiple staff members, including the manager, checked in on us regularly. A special shoutout to Precious, our standout waitress, who delivered exceptional service.

Alright I have a complain with your staff especial to us delivery team , I don't know why and what , if drivers arrive at Nando's waterfall your staff they just look at us no one come to help as on time , we call them to help us but they just ignore us. Of course we are not the customers but we are third-party. Maybe your staff think they fixing us but not us they fixing their own customers. Just imagine to wait more than 30 minutes on restaurant if someone come after long time they just took order on their table and give us . Nando's you must improve guys because at the end you will see that your customers will leave your restaurant and go to other restaurants because of your staff they don't even behave.
