A terrible experience On 17th April ,for my son's birthday party, I came with a cake and four children. Due to the internal communication confusion, they could not find any information about our reservation and told us that if we needed to eat the cake inside, we would have to pay R1200,I told the staff he was not friendly to children, had no empathy, and was incompetent. As a result, the tall black man who was the manager staff kicked me out directly. He shouted at me,told me take the cake go out of the shop,he was refused to let my kids play there, and told the young man that don’t sell the ticket to me,and call the security guard at the door to drag me out and yelled at us. All this happened in front of my daughter, son and children. In the end, the security of Mall Of Africa assisted me to complain to the mall office, all they were thinking that Bounce were too much and treated customers so rudely. I didn't get any apology in the end. The mall security suggested that we go to Spur,we had a great time there and lunch, and the waiters sang for us and cut the cake, those extra things for free, I suggest that all kids don’t go Bounce Mall of Africa,go Spur, the Bounce not qualified for a kids venue. All the above are my true experience and feelings。
—-Update 7th May Now I reply you again. I think the attitude of the four or five staffs on the scene made me feel that there must be something wrong with Bounce's corporate culture. As an eight-year old Bounce customer, from the Waterfall branch to the Fourways branch, and then to the MOA branch, I feel that your staff are getting more and more rude, Messy on-site management and Arrogant attitude ,a staff can actually kick a customer and child out without reason—There must be something wrong with your company. This is the first time I have had such a terrible experience in eight years in South Africa. Thank you to this male employee and the female manager and female employee on the scene. I don't want to recall this bad experience again, but I always remember his face. I will never go to Bounce again, and I will continue to share this bad story with my friends, school parents, and classmates around me, as well as your bad attitude to solve problems. In addition, the employee admitted that he had a racist attitude and when I raised my phone to record, he hit my phone on the face of another five or six-year-old girl in the queue, However, one of the mixed-race female employees claimed that I was the one who hit the crying girl. It was such a distortion of the truth, so I think this is the overall situation of your company now, and I don’t want to say...
Read moreI recently visited your facility with my 2-year-old toddler and, unfortunately, I had an experience that left me quite concerned.
I left my child in the kiddie jump area under the supervision of three caretakers, one of whom I believe was Tlhalefo. Before leaving, I specifically asked Tlhalefo about the supervision arrangements and expressed my concern for my child's safety, ensuring she remembered my name, my child's name, and my face. she assured that all the children would be taken care of and that i can proceed to go jump.
To my dismay, noticed my toddler wandering around the building, attempting to access the Dodgeball area. This was alarming as I had sought assurance that the children would be supervised throughout the hour.
This experience has left me questioning whether, as a parent, I should either be on constant supervisory duty or perhaps reconsider bringing toddlers to your facility if i am intending on enjoying the trampolines. I am unsure if there are specific terms and conditions regarding the supervision of toddlers, and I would appreciate clarification on this matter.
While I understand the inherent risks associated with personal injury, I believe it's crucial for parents to feel confident in the supervision provided for their toddlers. This incident has genuinely upset me, and I hope we can address this concern promptly.
I look forward to hearing from you and appreciate your attention to this matter.

Read moreFacility is a 10/10 but each visit leaves me infuriated. We’ve spent over 5 hours here on at least 4 separate occasions. EACH time we are here we are given at LEAST three news rules. Rules that half of the time contradict other rules we have been told on previous visits. My kids love coming but as of our most recent visit they weren’t allowed to do an activity they had previously been allowed to do. They were very upset so we will not be returning. I understand keeping kids safe but this has gotten extremely out of hand and unbelieving micromanaged which takes all of the fun out of visiting.
Don’t bother paying to jump with your kids. Each area has a very restrictive height range that prevents kids of different ages (even those close in age) from playing together.
Edited to add: I have a recreation management degree from Clemson University, one of the top universities in America. I’ve taken classes on risk management, facilities, recreation, youth sports, etc. Stop deceiving yourselves by saying “safety is our number one priority.” This environment doesn’t feel safe, it feels unnecessarily controlled. It is obvious that kids’ ages/heights are not thoughtfully considered because there are restrictions on areas that would be well suited for kids that are far outside of the limited range given for...
