NetCafé — Restaurant in Gauteng

Terrible service. I made an order to be delivered to a room. I waited a whole hour before going back to the restaurant to find out what's going on and found out that they delivered my food to the wrong room. This is terrible because I wrote down the precise room number and my cell number. They didn't even call me and just left my food in an unattended room. I had to end up throwing away the food because I didn't want to take the risk of eating unuttended food from a random hospital room. The manager didn't try to remedy my situation but instead gave me an excuse about how they didn't know the room. The guy who was supposed to deliver my food was rude to me the whole time telling me that I told him #2 when I never even spoke to him...

First experience at a NetCafé, Netcare in house coffee shop/restaurant.

Ordered the eggs benedict and an Americano. Prices are decent and relatively affordable for hospital lobby restaurants. Coffee was excellent.

Eggs benedict was adequate, could have been great if hollandaise sauce didn't taste bland and the muffin was toasted. Was surprised to get streaky bacon and egg was poached perfectly.

Overall a good experience and would consider visiting again when at a Netcare, especially...

Been in hospital with my bavy for three days and needed a pick me up, went to get some cake on Tuesday evening and the lady at the till dealing with cash cut my cake with her bare hands, put it in the container with her bare hands and proceeded to wipe the icing off her hands and continued to work. She did not wash her hands before or after cutting the cake. Im soooo disgusted and in 2025 in a hospital of all places we are so unhygienic...
