Ocean Basket Reds Mall — Restaurant in Gauteng

We had supper on the 1st of October 2022 at mall @reds ocean basket. It was not busy at all, more than half the restaurant was empty. We waited 20 minutes for our order to be taken and the waitress didn't take drinks order we even tried to order drinks while she was still at the table, and after about 5 mins she came back to ask us of we ordered drinks. Some of the food we ordered they got wrong and had to be sent back. Once we done with our main course after trying to signal about 5 waiters we waited about 15 mins before they brought a dessert menu. On top of all that 5 different people attended to our table, our waiter/waitress didn't give us a name ot introduce themself. I really will never go back to that ocean basket again. And I've been to the mall of Africa ob a few times and the service and food were much better even though they were...

My recent visit to this particular Ocean Basket (evening time) was the worst dining experience for myself and my partner. The day after our meal, we both experienced severe symptoms of food poisoning. This was directly after sharing the same dishes, leaving no doubt as to the source of the issue.

The only redeeming aspect of the visit was our waiter, who was attentive and ensured we were well taken care of during our time there. Unfortunately, this positive service was overshadowed by the aftermath of the meal.

Based on this experience, I would not recommend this establishment to anyone! I will certainly never be returning. Food safety should be a top priority, and this incident has left a lasting...

Food and service it's nice but the waiting time during peak hours is a turn of more than 30 minutes waiting and not to sound xenophobic but the majority of waiters and the supervisors are from Zimbabwe some can't properly speak any South African language except English..i I want to support a company that addresses unemployment in south africa for south Africans but these is unfortunately unacceptable for me..it is because thèe owners want to exploit workers and opt for foreign nationals and lastly I will write to the Home Affairs Department to pay these centurion area a visit to conduct some checks if all employed have the required working papers..and...
