Phoenix Spur — Restaurant in Gauteng

This branch wil NEVER see me again.

Firstly when we enter we say that we will need a table for 4 adults and 4 children, we get seated at a table that I vind suitable for 2 persons and have to make it work.

The waitress did not introduce herself and somehow we ended up placing drink and kiddies meals with Manager, what a waste of time ..... firstly we had to wait almost an hour for 2 mac n cheese and a cheese burger seeing that they forgot the kiddies pizza we ordered. We had to walk aroun in the restuarant to find the waitress and manager to ask for the pizzaand were then informed that we did not order the pizza ... funny how we would have 4 kids and order only 3 meals .... dint you think ... and then to be told by staff that we as customers are lying .....

Everytime we had to search for a waiter to order anything we wanted. Ordering food the orders came out wrong and when eventually arriving correct at the table one could see that it was made half hartedly as the natchis had absolutly no salsa.

Once again we had to walk around the shop to find a manager/waitres to request cutlery which took more than 5 min to reach the table. Is it not common sence to provide cutlery to customers.

we had to request the manager and waitress to remove empty plates and glass from the table ... a thing that should be done once it is empty.

I did request the owners number however this request was also ignored ... not that I expected anything else seeing that the night was a total disaster.

When requesting the bill we had to explain to the senior manager that only the last 8 didgets of the family card is needed which seemed like it was news to her .... we are unable to give the card as due age and enty of use it finally broke however we know the number of by heart.

One thing is for sure this branch should go to the Burning Arrow branch to learn what costumer service is and training waiters...

What a waste of time... Went there this morning for breakfast at 10:00. Ordered immediately. 2x unreal breakfast and a kiddies fishfinger meal with smileys. My wifes savannah was put on the table unopened.We had to call back the waitress to open it.. She did not know how to use the opener which ended in me having to open it myself.. 40 minutes later we received a vienna kiddies meal. ( not the fisfinger meal i ordered..) We then cancelled the order and wanted to pay for the drinks we left half because of the poor service. Waited at the front desk for to long unattended to pay. When the manager finally came, they couldn't even find our order on the system... WE WILL NOT BE GOING TO PHOENIX SPUR AGAIN. Basement parking at spur entrance smells of raw sewage. Really not...

We went to Spur to watch Springboks & Argentina. After ordering our food and watching the national athems being played, the signal was lost. TV switched off. No one, including the manager on duty, could provide any answers at last 4 groups of people walked out. After we ordered we waited 30 for our clold food to arrive. The order was copleatly incomplete/wrong. I asked, waiters for my milk & extra eggs x4. We they finally arrived ice cold. Our evening was completely ruined 😕 NO RUGBY. The manager apologised but no discount or voutchers offered. We will now look for alternatives for eating out and watching rugby 🏉. Our bill for x2 came to R487. SPUR is...
