Silver Peak Spur — Restaurant in Gauteng

I was holding off posting this bad review, because I am not one of "those people" who thrives on leaving bad reviews. BUT... After just receiving the worst possible service from Spur Mall@Carnival, where I eventally turned around and left because nobody was seating the would-be patrons, I am angry enough to post this.

On 20220125 around 19h00 we treated a family member for her 14th birthday, by going to your restaurant in particular even though there are at least three other Sprurs much closer to where we reside as we have always received superior service compared to other branches

The photo's attached are of my and the birthday girl's burgers, which aside from being a miniaturized version of what it is on your menu, was dry and tasteless. This was without question the worst burgers I have EVER eaten at any Spur. And I have for several years ranked your burgers as no.1 in the country. This was such a disappointing letdown, that I am hesitant whether I will risk trying another Spur burger again. We are very impressed with the service at Silverpeak Spur. After a not so good experience and service at the Birchwood Spur, went there and waited for a table to be cleaned, was seated and waited for a waiter to attend to us. Waited for a while and decided to rather leave and go to the Silverpeak Spur, we thought it won't get better. So we got at Silverpeak Spur was 3rd in line for a table, wasn't long before we were seated and straight away our waiter (Paul) attended to us. This Spur was packed and still we had our food and drinks within quite a reasonable time. Our waiter Paul had other tables to wait on and still he was friendly and checked in on us from time to time. The atmosphere was relaxing and the food was delicious.

First impression was amazing 🤩😍 Service was great waitresses full of energy and vibes. Very disappointed in food !Products out of stock 😢 😭 we already ordered our starters we so decided to cancel and go to the next spur out side the mall. Then I would like to thank Vincent who came to apologize for the inconvenience and told us they waiting for the truck but they were bit late than usual. Then the guy was humble made us to listen to him and he started to suggest for our main course we then ordered our food was delicious 😋🤤 we enjoyed our day we highly appreciate job well done 🙏🙏💞 My whole family and friends will definitely do visit to experience the same...
