Wimpy East Rand Mall Entrance 3 — Restaurant in Gauteng

I know many wont post about a Wimpy as its "beneath" them, but I know some people still love a good old fashioned Wimpy Burger and Coffee, with some Tomato sauce smeared all over their fries. We decided to give them a go the other day. We were slightly disappointed with their breakfast I.e. pale toast and not so great looking Bacon, yet very impressed with the new Burger offerings.

I had the Crispy Stack - Streaky Bacon, Chilli Mayo and Onion Rings. Loved it. My sis had the Hash Stack Burger - Hash Brown Cubes and Spicy Guacamole.

The famous Wimpy Coffee also didnt taste the same, very watery :-( please keep it the same as it was.

Definitely check out the new burgers, they have got some good ones on...

Went for breakfast with my boyfriend and our waitress was so kind and gentle. Her service was excellent and super fast.

When we were finished with our meal and asked for the bill we calculated gratuity for our wonderful waitress. However she did ask if we could pay the gratuity in cash, as when it is paid via card they aren't given the money.

We unfortunately had no cash on us and felt so bad we profusely apologised to her.

We feel that this is an injustice done to the service industry. We always tip our waiters as they work long and busy hours. We understand that employment contracts can differ, but when we want to leave a gratuity tip for excellent and kind service we should be able to do so in any monetary form.

As i am writing this review, i am sitting in ERmall Wimpy. I have been sitting here for an hour exactly - waiting for a parking ticket. In fact i think an hour cost R10 here. They did not have proper change this morning and wanted to gime me a hand full of R5 coins. They mumbled about going to the bank. So in view of no parking tickets, or change, this shop's Management does not prepare for Mondays. I waited some more and each time they promised its coming etc. After 2 hours i went to the desk and the manager appeared. He told me i have to spend more than R100 to get a ticket. Why did they not tell me at the start? He had no answer. I am a pensioner on a Sassa grant. So what to now? I will go to Spur around the corner, have coffee and get a...
