So I hosted a family that is originally from Pakistan 🇵🇰 who were on tour in Johannesburg.

Ofcause Indian cuisine naturally came up as the topic when it was time to eat so I promised them I would take them to the heart of Fordsburg neighborhood for the vast selection of Indian restaurants & culture.

Silver Spoon Restaurant was put to the test with their "Haleem Soup" & passed with flying colours.

Chicken Tika, Lamb Curry, Roti, Rice & salad came filled with flavors to die for. Chai tea was the night cap as tradition would have it.

Some things need to improve like hand towels at the hand wash stations as the food requires bare hands to eat and enjoy.

Don't expect an itemized bill when you are done eating either cause that's not how things work lol but the food is definitely worth the trip...

We had mutton chop 6.5/10, t-bone 6/10, chicken tikka 9/10 and mutton paya 9/10 with some bread. Mutton chop and t-bone were too dry and a little overdone. Marinated spices not very evident.
