Wish there was an option for 0 stars on all levels. Drove from Benoni last night with friends and family to enjoy supper together. Total number of 13 including 2 kids. When we get to the place, we place our order with the waitress, which includes half and quarter Bunny's. This place only sells can cool drink so we enquire with waitress if we can get 2lts from elsewhere and have it with our meals. Waitress said yes np. After 10 mins waitress comes back to say they no longer serve half Bunny's. I enquire with waitress why she claims the half "falls down" ... Something I have never heard before. The entire group was unhappy as it was reasonable to pay for a half than a quarter. I enquired as to why it is still on the menu, and the waitress was happy to serve half minutes ago. Asked to plz speak to the manager response from waitress and lady at cash register was no manager available. Minutes later the most arrogant, ill mannered, undisciplined, unprofessional and unethical man approaches me. He asked if I have a problem with the bunny, says half is not on the menu as it falls. My suggestion was to change the bread or texture of the curry. I was polite but he was aggressive in his tone clearly already emphasising his lack of ethics. Finally agreed to serve the bread n curry separate. Minutes later he comes back asking if we bought our cool drink from elsewhere, I answered immediately he became angry saying it's not allowed, he ranted and raved at this point. Still calm we advised him that we asked the waitress first and she said it was perfectly alright. The man said the waitress is new and inexperienced. The man showed no customer service skills, he was purely RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL, at this point no one was in the mood to eat at this place. So the guys went to advise him we are leaving as we felt unhappy with the way he treated us. At this point the man said don't come back. Appalling, menu still shows half bunny, waitress takes the order, gives advise to get the cokes, says don't serve half bunny, arrogant man fights with customers. Really how do you treat people like this. You employ someone but you fail to equip them with all skills or knowledge and hold customer responsible. We will never go back to this place, disgusting service if anything I would like to do a workshop with all staff on customer service management and etiquette for free.To the man God bless you and please re evaluate yourself. After all we were paying customers, if anything being a good human having respect is important for everyday life. I will be waiting...

Todays review is to praise one of Spice Kitchen staff Precious. Last night we placed an order before 19:00 and the expected delivery time was 19:42. Since there was no movement on the delivery app I called the store at 19:45 and and Precious advised that the order has been ready since 19:02.
Due to the sudden change in weather, we agreed that I will make a decision at 20:00. Precious called me at 19:55 stating that the driver was there and asking whether she should handover or wait for me. I requested to hand over to the driver.
Precious still called me again around 20:15 to check if everything was ok and whether I received my delivery. This kind of customer service lacks so severely across South Africa and I not only hope that Precious gets the accolades she deserves but she ends up running her very own successful business in the future. She is more than an asset to The Spice Kitchen.
Leaving portions of the old review so that we, as customers can get into the habit of giving credit where it is due even if our past experiences were not so good.
Old review - 8 months ago New owners took over establishment probably a year or so ago. The food quality is excellent and their curries are extremely popular but the establishment fails at one very important aspect - They do not cater for the afternoon and evening customers who wish to order curries because their curries get sold out very...
