So disappointed with this spot, I guess the hype was for nothing! They are so overpriced for the quality and taste of food put out! We ate at kodu - we ordered the chicken and prawn noodles which was seasoned with only soy, oyster sauce and a ton of garlic. The chef preparing our food also decided to cook beef with our food to double up on someone elses order. Firstly he didnt even ask if we eat beef or if we are ok with having beef cooked with our meal which made me quite upset and when portioning we got less that he had initially portioned for us. When my fiance brought it to their attention they simple cooked me another peice of chicken on another grill. However by then the noodles was already contaminated with the beef. They took more than 30 mins to give us our meal which is ridiculous considering it was precooked noodles. They also use the same cloth to wipe the grills which do not look sanitary at all! Ms Waffles and the Taco spot was the only place worth the visit and delivered on taste and value for money. The tables and seating area is not sanitized regularly or at all and no social distance protocol was observed - everyone seemed to do their own thing. I will not be...
Read moreWe tried a variety of dishes. 1 - Chicken fatayer. These Mediterranean dishes had a very mild taste. 2 - Cheese fatayer. I didn't have any space left to try the cheese option 3 - Prawn tikka masala and butter naan. OK LISTEN. I asked for hot and when it came garnished with colourful peppers, I wasn't very hopeful but let me tell you. THIS WAS INDIAN SPICY. Unfortunately the prawns were so hard and chewy, they were inedible but we didn't even mind because the sauce and the naan SLAPPED. Pleasantly surprised 4 - Carne asada and chicken tacos. These were good. 5 - Birria quesadilla. My favorite dish of the night 6 - Of course we needed dessert. Pecan and chocolate and lotus biscoff waffles on a stick 7 - The OG chocolate croffle. This was soooooo good!!!!
