What a joke. Went through yesterday afternoon with my sister for a late lunch. Kudzi, our waiter, gave us one menu and when asked for an extra one reacted as though he were doing us a favour. When we wanted to place our order he was more interested in finding out whether we had sisters around his age as he couldn't take his eyes off us. After finally managing to get him to take our orders he didn't even pay us attention; he was more interested in minding the front door for customers. We had to keep repeating because he wasn't listening. Order placed. Then came along our 40 minute wait for our meals. Is that normal? It wasn't even busy! Came our food; it was lukewarm (at best) and my chicken and rib combo was so dry I had to slug water just to help me swallow it. YOUR CHIPS ARE SO OILY! My sister's ribs were no better. Her temples were throbbing and she described the ribs as "chalky". We asked for condiments and after waiting 10 minutes for it he brought the sauce in a bowl and THREW it at us on a plate. I kid you not...he threw it. I didn't finish my meal and opted to take the dry meat home for my four legged baby who might enjoy it more. The bill arrived and we were surprised to see we got billed for sauce that we weren't made aware was an add-on. I've been to this establishment on numerous occasions with both my husband and family and had nothing but good things to say about the service and food so I'm truly shocked at yesterday's incident. Appalling service and the food left a lot to be desired. Horrible value for money. If asked, I'll certainly be sure to tell of my last experience here to...
Read moreI ordered a dom pedro as a desert, i was not happy because it tasted just loke ic cream without any liquer in it. I usually order the amrua or frangelico buh the waiter recommended cape velvet. I asked the manager on duty, i have been having dom pedros for over 8 years, single shot in a much bigger wine glass than they offer and it would still taste nice buh tht tasted like the ice cream over powered the shot. He said he was sorting it out, a few mns later he came back asking me what i had drank before? Was it a tequila sunrise? Like really what did what i had drank before to do with the pedro i had ordered? I answered that i had a strawberry daquiri. I asked them how they make it because most of the times restaurants, the blend more than a serving which in this case could have happened. I ended up paying fr something i did not drink, i am a manager myself and my lil sister confirmed that the pedro was flat. Our waiter was excellent buh some of these managers you put on the floor needs to know what they are doing. We told ourselves we will nvr set foot in that store again. So...
Read moreSo on Friday the 11th March was my birthday and I thought let me go have lunch with my sister at the house of ribs. When we got there,it took us nearly 10 to 15 minutes to get someone to attend to us or a waiter..When we finally got one we were put on a table next to the DJ where there are those steam like fans that sprinkle water and we asked to be moved to another table where were not given any cutlery tooth pick or anything. For a starter we had Buffalo wings which were boiled and dipped in a cheap Chilli sauce(light red)🤑 and then we had chicken livers that were cooked with soup👎I mean who still cooks with soup in this time and age.Alright we then ordered main course which was a well done T-bone steak, chips and mushroom sauce for me and Ribs with veges for my sister. Guess what my steak was half done and very dry only the mushroom sauce tasted nice on my meal and then my sisters ribs had the pinkish cheap tomato sauce.. Only the environment had a good chilled vibe. Our all in all experience was very bad the restaurant needs to let go of their chef he or she doesn't know how to...
