I am writing my review in the restaurant at the end of a date night Tuesday special - we have been here for three hours and are still waiting for the bill - very poor service, hours between meals - the waiter never checks on you and we were sitting with the dirty beverage dishes we finished twenty minutes in way after our main meal. Our party of four were served staggered with half of us waiting for food and the others being forced to start because the delay between was so long - an example of the bad service was how I was able to type this in the time I asked for the bill 10 or so minutes ago and no sign of our waiter just as much as there was no sign of her for most of the evening. For the price you pay for the experience almost R1400 for both couples - you would expect a wonderful dining experience with five star service. The food was not seasoned.Definitely not the experience we expected and spent time really looking forward to.

Absolutely fantastic experience!

We visited on a Monday evening for the date night special and opted for the two-course menu. The house Pinotage was lovely, but the real star was the food — absolutely exceptional!

I found myself genuinely delighted with every bite. The starters were a highlight: the Korean fried chicken is a must-try, and the oxtail croquettes were simply outstanding. Our mains were equally impressive, beautifully prepared and full of flavour. The environment gave a New York vibe with good tunes in the background.

A special mention goes to our waiter, Tatenda, who truly elevated the evening. He was warm, attentive, and engaging — quick to assist and genuinely a pleasure to chat with. We shared a few laughs throughout the night, which made the experience all the more memorable.
