Today’s visit to Wimpy at Mall of the South was nothing short of exceptional, all thanks to the incredible manager, Herman. From the moment we walked in, he ensured our experience was top-tier. Not only was he welcoming and friendly, but he also went the extra mile to assist me in setting up the Wimpy app, patiently guiding me through the process.
Throughout our meal, he continuously checked in to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of, which added such a personal touch to the experience. His accommodating nature and genuine care for customer satisfaction stood out. It’s rare to find service that feels this personalized and thoughtful. Herman’s dedication to creating a pleasant atmosphere and delivering outstanding service is truly commendable. Wimpy, you’ve got a gem of a manager at Mall of the South! We’ll definitely be back, thanks to his remarkable...
Read moreProbably my worst Wimpy experience....and i usually rely on then for a solid go to meal. Cappuccino, with a thin layer of milk or foam hiding a dark coffee which doesn't meld with the teeny amount of milk thrown in. Dagwood, according to Wimpy Mall of the South...layers of dry toast stuffed with Egg, Patty, Bacon and Tomato relish...basically hard and dry. Waitress tells me that they changed the way they do it cos some clients complain about the margarine or butter on the toasted sandwich.....Manager says they've always been making this way...i.e. Dry....its not like its the first time I've ordered it or eaten at Wimpy, so this seemed odd. Service good otherwise, but this time the meal let me down.

Read moreI came to celebrate my birthday with some cake and Kgomotso the lady who was behind the till was very rude to me. I already had a long day and I just wanted to have some cake and make the best of what was left of my birthday. Kgomotso shouted at me for not knowing that I had scan the slip she gave me in the wimpy app and when her manager asked her what was going on, she said “nothing” cause she knew he couldn’t understand what was being said because she was speaking Zulu to me. I was honestly defeated and I couldn’t bring myself to speak. All I wanted to do was cry and so I went to the bathroom to cry and when I came back out she saw me again and loudly told her co-workers that I’m sulking and they continued to laugh at me. I genuinely don’t think this is anyway to treat a customer especially someone celebrating their birthday. They completely...
