Wimpy — Restaurant in Gauteng

After one epic fail and three false starts my wife and I decided to go for a Wimpy breakfast as part of her ongoing birthday celebration.

Because we were close to Centurion Mall we decided to go there on the provision that if it like any of the occasions that we would give Wimpy a wide berth for the rest of our lives.

We were met by smiling and laughing staff at the restaurant entrance. Salome took us to our seats and took care of us throughout our time in the restaurant.

We received our food like we ordered it. Salome also ensured that we were okay at regular intervals.

The restaurant was clean, the staff busy and we noticed healthy communication between staff members and staff with eating customers. What really surprised us was the owner of the restaurant was also in the restaurant mingling with his staff.

We asked Salome to ask the owner to join us which he gladly. We complemented him on the way his staff behaved as well as his interaction with his staff.

We take the time to drive to Wimpy Centurion Mall for breakfast. Our thanks and appreciation to the owner Nick and his staff to make us feel welcome and to feed us in true South African hospitality.

Salome also gathered her team to sing happy birthday to my wife and presented her with complementary ice cream. Too beautiful.

We had breakfast at Wimpy centurion mall. The breakfast on the special on the table shows with has brown cubes which I did not get. I was a bit disappointed but the breakfast was nice. But then they put may card payment through twice. I phoned them and they did acknowledge that it they did and would refund the money. That was the 25 May 2024. But the money was not put back into my account by the 7 June 2024. So I phoned again, they said they know about it and even give me all my details, the manager then told me the person that works with their account is not in, but he will talk to him and come back to me. It is the 10 June 2024, nobody contacted me and I am still waiting for my money to be paid back into my account. I'm very unhappy with them and will never eat there again, as it seems that they hope I will forget about it. Is this the way they steel...

Had really great service, the waitress was this bustling older old lady called Patricia, (hope I remembered how to spell her name correctly) her area was the small "outside" section in the mall, she was so friendly and our food and drinks came quicker then I thought they would , she was always near by if you wanted anything extra and didn't forget to bring anything that was asked either.she really has such a warm hearted personality..... you guys better look after her! She's a five star...
