Complaint: Failed Service Delivery
I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the service I received from KFC South (Ballito) and the delivery driver, Banele. Despite providing an alternative contact number in the comments section and clearly stating that I was out of the country, the driver failed to contact me when issues arose with my order delivery.
Issues with Service Lack of communication: The driver did not attempt to contact the alternative number, which was provided specifically for this purpose. Disregard for customer situation: The team showed no understanding or compassion for my situation, despite my clear instructions. Threats: The team threatened to charge me for future instances, without taking responsibility for their own failures.
Failure of Service Delivery This incident highlights a significant failure in service delivery, including:
Incompetence: The team failed to manage the delivery process effectively. Poor customer relationship management: The team showed no ability to resolve problems or respond to customer needs. Read moreOur experience tonight at KFC Ballito's drive-through was deeply disappointing. After being informed that the burgers would be served without lettuce—a minor issue we were willing to overlook—we placed our order. However, things went downhill from there.
We were told we’d need to wait 10 minutes for our food as the wings were only "flatties" and were asked to park in front. Despite obliging, more than 10 minutes passed before a staff member, Cielo, approached us, stating we’d need to wait another 10 minutes to receive "warm and fresh food."
This reasoning was baffling. Warm and fresh food is the minimum expectation when paying for a meal, not a bonus. After waiting an additional 15 minutes, my patience ran out, and I demanded a refund.
The entire ordeal left us feeling undervalued and frustrated. It seems that once you park in front, all urgency to assist disappears. The experience was so negative that I’ll think twice before returning to this branch—or trusting the "park and wait" system again.

Read moreChicken was fried with hair, when approached the store and staff to explain to them the situation and check the batch which they had fried for hair on other chicken pieces, so this inconvenience does not happen to some one else.
The staff just stood clueless and say sorry, the chicken come packed like that, the managers where hiding away in their office as they saw us talking to the staff.
When we asked to speak to the cook, to inform them of the chicken so they can becareful next time it does not happen, same answer sorry.
The staff should at least say here’s a ice cream on the house, or we do apologize please accept a pack of 4 wings or something.
Just customer service aspect was missing here.
