I would like to start off by saying that I work in the mall, have been for years. But just because I work in the mall, it does not mean I am not a customer/ Client and that I must be treated poorly.
This morning I was assisted by a lady named Ncamcile, while placing an order for take away. I got to the till and I greeted her very politely, she ignored me as if I was invisible. Eventually when she acknowledged me. She took my order with such attitude, not listening to what I had asked for...mind you ,I repeated it 3 times. And still got it wrong..
Talking to me under her breath, she took payment, which I gave her cash and she didn't have change and makes me feel bad for not having carried smaller monies or my card.
Eventually it gets sorted she gives me my receipt and still my order is wrong...but I didn't want to cause a scene. I then sat and waited for my incorrect order and watched how she assisted everyone else. With a smile on her face and politeness. This is very disappointing and hurtful to witness as I am a paying customer and got treated like I am trash because I work in the mall. I would never treat mall staff the way she treated me.. I was a loyal customer of Kauai. But this just left a bitter taste in my mouth. And truth be told it's quite sad. I wish you guys all the best for future business but please teach your staff to treat people the way they would like to be...
   Read moreNot sure if this is the right Kauai. I ordered inside Gateway Mall across from the Factorie clothing store. I ordered the new chia smoothie; which I've had twice before. We got a random, milky pink smoothie with chia seeds thrown in it but it was far from what the smoothie was usually like. I went to let the staff members know that it wasn't the same and got a blank response. Surely every branch should make the same version of the same smoothie? I was told that it was because I had from a different branch. This is the second time from this particular Kauai that a smoothie differed entirely from other branches. I mentioned that the one I usually got was better and the employer responded with "Well I made it.". That is not helpful nor was there any form of an actual conversation. I felt like I was talking to a wall. Very disappointed.
