Culture Restaurant and Lounge — Restaurant in KwaZulu-Natal

I am never a person to complain but i was extremely disappointed, emotional and hurt - I treated my parents out on Freedom Day as I heard a lot of good things about Culture. We arrived at 12:30 midday - The restaurant was basically empty (only one couple was present at that time). We were not greeted by anyone and after few minutes a waiter approached us and seated us. We placed our starter order at 12:40. started arrived at 1:20pm. We placed our mains order at 1:00pm and only ended up getting the food at 2:25pm. Only 4 of the 6 dishes arrived. We inquired and was told it will be 2 more minutes. After some time we asked again and 10 minutes later the 4 dishes arrived. Two more were still missing (my mum and dad's dishes). We waited 10 minutes and asked them for the third time. They said it was still being plated (22 minutes to plate). We were all done eating and asked for the bill. The waiter was extremely apologetic. I still tipped him. My parents left without having their mains as it was still not ready. What makes it so disappointing is that whilst being there, the restaurant filled up to about 50 more people and every single one of them were served their mains except for us. They all arrived after and our orders were placed first. Just very, very upsetting. The guests belonged to a high performance car club and had arrived in Lamborghini's, Porsche's, McLaren etc so maybe that's why they were prioritized. We recently decided to go for dinner at Culture Restaurant. Culture was quite busy when we arrived. We noticed alot of teenagers there. We were asked to sit outside the area where the teenagers were having a 16year birthday party. We refused the seating and asked to be seated elsewhere as the kids were walking in and out constantly.

Once we were settled down, we decided to go for the buffet. The menu was mutton curry, roast chicken, pasta, broad bean curry, soya prawn. As an Indian person, we know what curry should taste like and was definitely not impressed by standard of the cooking. The dessert was Soji, this was enjoyable although the cream bowl needed attending to. Unfortunately no dessert bowls were given. No dessert cutlery. At one time there were no Forks and we had to ask the waiter for Forks. There are alot of waiters in Culture but management of the waiters need to be addressed.

Whilst we were eating, the teenagers were called to the front to dance. As the teenagers were dancing and being teenagers, some of the older men who were already intoxicated decided it was okay for them to join in the dancing as well. Sitting at my table with my family and being a mum with kids, I found this extremely unsettling as you can see some of the older men eyeing these kids in a very inappropriate way. The way that some of the waiters look at women is rather unsettling and uncomfortable. The 1/4 mutton bunny came to us cold, we had to send it back for warming. None of the managers cared to come and check on us yet they were walking around, eating and sitting outside. I would have thought that the hospitality would be great seeing as we hosted a party there. The food portion of chops is ridiculous for that price! One would think it was a kiddies meal! They said it comes standard with veggies however it was broccoli and pepper. The menu should've specified how many grams it was for the least. The paneer is already a creamy cheese dish yet it was overly creamy. The mutton bunny had mostly bones and once removed, was a big hole in the center. Refer to picture posted. The cocktails were very cold drink based (lack of alcohol) and this is factual because we were still sober upon leaving there and we spent +-4 hours at the venue. The menu states "Specials" however they said they didn't have what we wanted and that it's only for weekends. Very misleading.
