Mugg & Bean On The Move Durban North — Restaurant in KwaZulu-Natal

I strongly advise against patronizing this Mugg & Bean establishment and suggest purchasing from Pick n Pay as a superior alternative.

During my recent visit, I experienced wholly unacceptable service that demonstrates a complete disregard for customer priority and food quality standards. After ordering a chicken and mushroom pie, I watched as the server processed multiple orders from customers who had arrived after me, leaving my order entirely neglected.

When I reasonably requested a refund due to time constraints, rather than honoring this request, the server dismissed my concerns and proceeded to microwave a pre-made pie - an insulting resolution that I had neither requested nor agreed to.

The fact that I was ultimately forced to accept this substandard, microwaved product due to time pressures speaks volumes about their unprofessional approach to customer service. I did not have time to argue but this establishment clearly lacks basic operational competency and respect for their patrons.

The worst experience I have ever had at a Mugg & bean . We were rushed by the waiter who said they were about to close and we need to finish our food quick . He started packing chairs from other table and as soon he finished he came and stood in front of us ,!We asked why he was standing in front of us staring at us he said because he is waiting for us to finish ? How rude !!! We Reported it and manger called and said he will look at it and come back to us , he never did . It’s been 4 months . He probably brushed it off . This used to be my go to for coffee and light lunch but I stopped . Mugg & bean Kensington total garage is the best . They even know what I want before hand . Their food preparation is also tops . Will rather starve than go back there . Pity the owners don’t know , but we still use some of their branches like Gateway ,Umhlanga sands...

This has probably got to be the worst mugg and bean I have been to in KZN, I generally go there in the mornings as it is on my way to work. On a few occasions I have been there and they are extremely unhygienic, the first time someone from the back brought a bucket of rags to the front and began washing it in the sink, he then proceed to leave the rags in on the counter where my coffee cup was and it was against the cup, the batista then took the cup and continued to pour the filter coffee into it, the second occasion was the batista held the bin bare hands and moved it around then continued to grind and tamp her coffee, I got there this morning and a guy cleaning some items then proceed to go to the food display case and reach in to adjust the labels touching the food in the case with his arm after washing things, highly disappointed and would...
