Wanted to love this place. Could not. Admittedly arrived at an odd time - 15h30 Sat. Viwe at front of house was initially absent, then disinterested and incompetent. (Not suitable for a client-facing role) Ordered mutton and chicken curry - both with rice - asking for less oil. Despite requests, the meal came swimming in oil. After replating, it became apparent that the sambals (KZN style - mix of tomato, onion, chili and dhania) had sugar mixed in. Unusual. Culinary fail. Then the bean roti was also sweet. Have not encountered this in India nor other KZN curry meals. Kitchen staff were pleasant - could have run front of house.
