The ladies that take your order are pure stupid. Ignore half of what you are saying so you need to always pay twice. Then still getting home and having the wrong order. Called the lady and she accused me of saying the wrong thing and told me her manager would call. THEY CLOSED AND WENT HOME AND I HAVE FOOD I DIDNT ORDER AND CANT EAT BECAUSE IM VEGAN AND THIS ISNT VEGAN!!!!! I order there every week and order the same thing every time and ALWAYS have an issue with the stupid ladies in the front.

The order will also be finished and they will stand there looking at you not bothering to tell you that your order is done. Won’t be supporting again. They are also VERY dirty and take their rubbish bags out while dripping all over the floor and people are eating with that smell....

I ordered telephonically a bill totalling R628. I was told 20 to 30 mins to collect. I had to wait almost an hour without being updated on my order. The Black gentleman who managed the orders was unapologetic and just handed me my order. The owner was not present. So I could not debate the fact that how they justify 7 shrimp(prawn on menu) size can't justify it being prawns. The R165 for that. No sides or anything else. Plus he insisted that the amount of prawns and size was how it is served.The garlic and butter naans are too thick, doughy and chewy. Their food tastes very good but they are dropping the ball on a few things. Service being number one. Month end weekend, owner needs to take more interest. Your staff were a mess!!! This was my first visit to Swagath. I was really pleasantly surprised by the quality of food. We ordered samosas, a lamb vindaloo, a chicken madras and a chicken korma. These were absolutely mouthwatering and I could not fault either of the dishes presented. The dishes have generous portion sizes and are served in lovely dishes, which really adds to the experience.

Each main is served with fluffy rice, but we also ordered naans and a roti as sides. Both of these were as authentic as I can imagine, soft and with just the right amount of chew to make them very moreish.

As a sit in, the venue is clean and well presented but does lack warmth and a wee bit of personality. Other than that, it was a lovely experience with happy...
