Suffice to say that was a 5 star experience and I cannot recall all the details.

Yet

Had a lovely return with a friend for brunch. We both ended up having a light lunch option. She had a quiche with a Cambodian salad ( yeah it’s intriguing, go taste it yourself) the quiche was ‘gorgeous’ ( her words) I had Vietnamese spring rolls. Being curious about both veggie and chicken options I ordered both, and had lots to take home ( side note they don’t keep too well for too long as the dough gets soft sticky and disintegrates , so rather eat them all immediately) The veggies were fresh, the plate beautifully presented and the dipping sauce quite yummy. A different, yet delectable choice…

The staff was pleasant , friendly and efficient without bring in your way. The service was timely , no huge waits experienced.

The venue is ( relatively recently) renovated so the side patio is now spacious and very pleasant to spend extra time chatting and enjoying the surroundings.

The restaurant is set in pleasant surroundings in middle of lifestyle nursery which is always beautifully kept and vibrant with color.

All in all a very enjoyable experience and definitely recommended . I was very happy with my choice to come back.

They do have breakfasts, light lunches , proper lunches and decadent cakes too so we will be back again soon ❤️ and they have cocktails for those so inclined for an...

We just ate lunch at this restaurant today (Sunday, 4 June 2023). I ordered a toasted cheese and tomato sandwich, the bread came rock hard like a stone. We complained to the waitress, she walked away and sent the manager. The manager didn't apologise and made us feel uncomfortable and looked at us like we were crazy. We sent it back and they toasted it perfectly (not sure why it couldn't have been done properly the first time) but this time there was hardly any cheese on it. Couldn't eat it at all, even the second time. The manager never came over again to check that everything was fine and that we were happy, didn't seem like she cared at all. My daughter's kiddies pizza was black and burnt underneath. I pointed this out to the waitress, didn't seem like she cared. My husband's steak was rare. We told the waitress the food was terrible, she didn't even bother to take the toasted sandwich off the bill and never apologized or said goodbye to us. Last time we ate there, the tramezzini was also rock hard and we had to send it back. Learnt our lesson for good and we will never go back there again. Food was terrible and service and manager was bad. It's a shame because we used to go there often. And I'm not one to send food back or complain at a restaurant. Stay away from this restaurant because if your food is bad, they will still make you pay for it and they don't understand at all. They can't even get a toasted cheese sandwich right which is the most simple...

False advertisement on menu.

I was disappointed when my child ordered the fruit bowl from the kids menu. After seeing a picture of it on the menu which contained Kiwi, Strawberry, Grapes, Apple and Pineapple, everything she likes. We were presented with a bowl that contained strawberry, banana, melon and papaya. Everything, minus the strawberry, that she did not like.

If we were informed what was actually going to be given to us we would not have ordered the bowl at all. A disclaimer on the menu should be included highlighting and stating seasonal fruit will only be served . That would be much more understandable.

Don't give us a pretty picture and give us something entirely different.

Despite this, the rest of the food we got was actually really good.

Please fix your menu regrading this or at least inform your staff to mention something about the bowl if your customers choose to order...
