RocoMamas Little Falls Drive Thru — Restaurant in Roodepoort

So I ordered 2 Bloomstar burgers and 2 thick cut fries - order #0C583

Experience: The app indicated the order would be ready in 30mins so we arrive at 12:50 to collect The lady at the drive-thru says the order was done a long time ago The app did not notify me of my order being ready for collection; actually, as I type out this message, it is still "not ready"

Food: Burgers were cold as it was sitting out for a while Fries were soggy and luke warm as it was sitting out for a while - definitely not worth the R36 price tag AND there was nothing amazing about the flavor considering. My burger just had a fillet and lettuce put together with some sauce My wife's burger was better; it had tomato and lettuce but she had the same issue with her fries- there could have easily been more items for this price

Overall conclusion: This was my first ever experience at RocoMammas - based on the recommendation from my mum I wanted to spoil myself and my wife after a very tough week but everything was so average and disappointing I don't see the hype; I could have went to KFC and received a far better meal for the price of your single burger I won't be setting foot at any of your stores if this is the way service is done I was really hesitant trying your food but you guys out did yourselves in proving that I should have trusted my gut instinct from the experience with the app to the average food.

We have been enjoying Rocomamas for some time now. Today we went to the newly opened drive thru in Little Falls. Although we have been there before, today was not your best.

I ordered the Combo 3 (Ribs and wings). Once home and getting ready to eat, I found the ribs still cold. And not room temperature, but fridge cold. The wings were warm, but very dry, a clear indication of being warmed up in a microwave. I suppose the ribs were not warmed up with the wings.

Are you really prepared to risk your success of a drive thru on selling food heated up in a microwave??!!

We have eaten at Rocomamas a lot, and never had I issues with cold food or microwaved food. It was always freshly cooked.

You have seriously dropped the ball with the drive thru. If you can't prepare food fresh for the drive thru, then rather close it.

You are trying to be fancy, but...

Use to be a fan....had a few mishaps before and thought let's give them a try again. Ordered burgers and fries.....got home and there was no fries in the bag. The burger patties was totally cremated on one side (looks like it was pre-cooked and then reheated or forgotten on the grill) dry and almost no caramelised onions. Staff was very friendly but unfortunatly I dont pay for smiles but a person expects good food. Never again!

Follow up: Contact was made and the manager/owner was apologetic, insisted that our order be remade at no cost. The burgers was good! Thank you. It can be appreciated that a business is still willing to rectify a mistake, improve their products and service because that is how you create loyal customers....
