vida e caffè Sea Point — Restaurant in Sea Point

Over the years, just no inclination to visit Vida e Caffè and today I decided to do so. Not sure why, and I regret doing do. Served at the counter by a person who preferred to continue eating whatever was in her hand and mouth. Handed her the packet of sandwich and paid but on asking for a purchase and credit card slip which was not offered, there was some hesitancy and then she stated that she would require to go to the back. She returned with a paper roll and only then inserted same into the machine slot. Not sure how long therewas no paper there as, I kid you not, that machine printed a very large quantity of backed up sale slips for some 10 minutes. I asked her for her name and the retort was WHY. Visited a few times. This place is very dirty. Flies even sitting on the food items inside the display case and dirty pigeons walk inside the small store all the time. The servers here are not up to par for the company - no energy. Also, after paying (card pin already processed) for my drink the guy, Ace, wanted to cancel it because they had no lids for the cold drink cups. I said it's okay - expecting for him to at least put it into a hot cup with a lid or something along those lines, but no. The excuse was that he will run out of those cups or whatever he was mumbling. On top of this, the drink tasted terrible - like watered down ice coffee slush. Waste of money!
