We loved our stay at The Sage. We booked through Rest Easy, and they were FANTASTIC. They got us access to our unit upon arrival. Everything was fully stocked and questions answered quickly. Several communal spaces including a courtyard, lounge, and office area for working. The entire building also has generators so you still have wifi and can make food during load shedding in the district. Front desk was friendly and got us set up in their system quickly so we could get into the garage for our parking spot. We were in a 1 bd which had nice views of Lion's Head and ocean. The apartment was fully stocked with everything we needed. Full kitchen, washer/dryer, kitchen & bathroom soaps, tea, coffee, biscuits, body wash, towels, fans, a heater, and fast WiFi. The WiFi was fast w no issues during video conferences. Great location w lots of restaurants, bakeries, and shops close by. There's a Woolworths on the same block, and just across the street a Pilates a studio, Movement. The Sage has a lot of short-term rental options (studios, 1 or 2 bd configurations). We had friends staying in other units at the building so we got a chance to explore a few of the other accommodations. It worked out great for our group to be together booking multiple units and we will be doing this again. We loved our experience and thad no issues with the rental agency/cleaners. We did hear mixed reviews from friends about hiccups or challenges with some of their bookings from the other agencies/owners. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will definitely be returning to this building for future visits to Cape Town.

The professionalism of the staff is not good at all. The manager called Faraaz kept on harassing me for a small wine stain, He summoned me to pay R820 to clean the rug. In my entire life of travelling I have never come across such. The Cleaning team, they don’t respect customers, they knock the door while shouting. One cleaner told us she is in a hurry to go home since it is Sunday, we end up cleaning our room, they also don’t change towels and bedding. The room was nice but you don’t have freedom. I guess there are people renting around and they will complain should you stand on the balcony and have a chat with your friends. I would not advise people to book at Sage if your plan is to enjoy yourself.

Superb finishes! Quality bedding. Single room Kitchenettes have washing machines! Crockery good quality. Ample cupboard storage for bags. Comfortable seating for working. Water pressure is good. 🚿 Smart TV. 📺 Double-ply toilet paper. 🧻 Great for week long / month long stays.

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this hotel. Not only were we stolen from, with clothes and money going missing, but the level of service was appalling. The towels weren’t changed during our stay, and they were dirty from the start. The cleanliness and security of this place are non-existent, and I cannot believe how poorly they handled our concerns. This was one of the worst stays I’ve ever had, and I would strongly advise anyone to stay away from this place.

I wish if i can...
