Very nicely greek restaurant. We went on a very hot day so the air-con wasn't working but by the time we left we were actually quite comfortable as the air-con had been fixed. We ordered a few items, mine was a Greek salad it was nice and cool but very disappointed in the size of the cucumber which was huge pieces of cucumber slice to be cut smaller. My gyros which were of lamb and chicken ok. Rhe Pites needed a little bit of more browning it was a little under done and the lamb was a little bit watery. Taste was both chicken and lamb tasted good. The other person ordered lamb parcel and they were extremely happy with it and she ordered spanakopita of which she was satisfied as well. The food is super-authentic, the portions are HUGE and the service is oh-so-friendly. The decor transports you directly to Santorini. The platters take your taste buds on a culinary tour through the faraway wonderful and mystical country of Ellada (Greece), but in the small town of Stellenbosch.

Waitress: despite the restaurant being quiet when I visited ~ she rudely pointed to me to go sit at another table (no explanation provided and unnecessarily confrontational).
Later in the service she tried to act overly friendly - which looked neither professional nor accommodating.
The olive oil and balsamic vinegar was nearly empty, and so was the tomato sauce (ketchup).
I hoped that good service would make up for the small space this restaurant provides... unfortunately that does not seem to...
