Such a lovely little café. I stopped by here for breakfast after a lovely meander with family from Muizenberg to Kalk Bay, along the beach and railway. The atmosphere is so relaxed and quaint. It has a warm, inviting feel. They also have a great view of the sea in the outside area, which was unfortunately full. But it was alright, sitting inside was also lovely. The staff are nice and friendly, the little café gets a bit busy though. They have freshly baked pastries which taste amazing, and are so light and fluffy! Then they also have a basket of "Day Olds" for R10, which I think is great. Because they're still fresher than what you would probably get at a grocery store. So you can still enjoy the deliciousness when on a budget. The coffees are really nice as well. They also have an antique/vintage store which you can walk through and purchase from. Really a great little place, Will definitely visit there again!

This restaurant boasts one of the most amazing settings on the peninsula (Kalk Bay), and, solely on this, a visit, it is recommended. Only the railway track stands between your table, the rocky shore and False Bay sea! The portions are also generous and delicious. We enjoyed a three-egg omelette (with spinach, mushrooms and goat's milkcheese) and a Salmon Benny. It was a busy weekend and all the tables were taken, so the wait for our order to arrive was understandably quite lengthy. The only improvements that could be made is that the coffee could have been hotter and the bread that accompanied the omelette could have been a lot softer! Other than this, a wonderful experience!

Came across this quaint cafe by chance while strolling by in Kalk Bay and stopped by for a croissant and coffee. It was absolutely delicious - both the vegan almond and chocolate croissant. The pastry was so flakey, light and just delectable. The staff were truly so friendly, attentive and warm making it an all-round wonderful experience. Overall, the cafe is very unassuming from the street side but it’s a lovely hidden gem (with an incredible sea view) for breakfast or lunch. They also cater for all dietary requirements with an array of vegetarian and vegan options or substitutes which is always a winner.

A very popular local restaurant situated on the Kalkbay train tracks with an amazing view of the ocean. There is a selection of "Ohana made" classics on the menu. The Obama buns are exceptional and the salmon eggs Benny is a must have. The combination of an excellent hollandaise sauce, perfectly poached eggs and a crispy potato rosti is incredible. It is a very busy spot over the weekend, so bookings are recommended. Also, be ready to spend the day, since the service is very friendly but a bit haphazard. Dogs are also very welcome. Definitely worth having the best eggs Benny ever here!

An awesome cafe overlooking a pristine coastline. One cannot have a better spot to have morning coffee and fresh croissant. Tried the Capuccino and vegan almond croissant. Both were fantastic. Many reviewers have complained about the service but given that we were one of the first customers today, service was prompt and provided recommendations, Deyo who served us was too kind. I would highly recommend this place for early morning shot of caffeine and a quick bite of Croissant. Almond Croissant is the best amongst all the ones I've tried in Capetown or any of its suburbs.
