There are toilets. Just after the St James sign, go under the tunnel that leads you to find the tidal pool. Good place for kids, but no sandcastle can be built at pool, but bring your fish net along. Sandy area for sandcastles is next to the tidal pool. The tidal pool is exlxcellent when you bring beach shoes along ( to swim with and walk around in while in the wster) as there are some flat rocks in tidal pool thatay be uncomfortable. A better experience with 'swimming shoes'. You can get these shoes at a Mr Price Sport or Makro store. Coffee shop from a cross the road setes sends waitresses for any coffee or drinks order. Love this place 5 stars definately. They also display the temperature of the water on the wall, visible as you enter. Bring goggles and a snorkel, as the fish and sealife you see is a real treat...
