Great tidal pool with amazing views of the ocean. I generally do love this part of the beach. It's a quick 10 minute walk from Kalk Bay to St James however in between the 2 beaches multiple other chill spots are available which dare I say are certainly better than the main beaches. I definitely would give the whole coastline between the 2 beaches a 5 out of 5. They are neat, amazing and fun to explore

Treat yourself to a 15 minute walk along the walkway, by parking your vehicle at Muizenberg beach and proceeding by foot to the pool in this way. There are stilted colourful change room cubicles at Dalebrook pool, and a clean, well maintained beach. Fresh, cold, wave-less sea water awaits you. Take the plunge!

SUNRISE MUST!! A special spot to watch a sunrise, come in summer for an early start and even better a morning dip the Atlantic seawater pool! Nice rocks for sitting. Fairly safe area of Kalk Bay. Shops and food nearby. Sitting area on “bench”. Pool is really shallow but people do laps all the time in it.

My first tidal pool ever - couldn’t have had it any better way. I love cold immersion (trained by my mentor friend Wim Hof), and enjoyed the 16 C / 61 F. Beautiful water, waves splashing on the rocks and stone structure and a calm environment. Tranquil and highly recommended!

So lovely to swim here in the early mornings. 'Salt' is a restaurant further down the road and has a coffee special before 9am for R10 and R40 for a delicious avo on toast. They also have the best croissants ever. This is one of my favroutie things to do in Cape Town.
