Comida Eatery — Restaurant in Windermere

Went to Comida for dinner, recommended by a friend.turned out to be such a poor experience. the Galinaha Camaro (1/2 chicken and 4 queen prawns) was overcooked to the point where it was not edible at all (both the chicken and the prawns).i had to leave half my dish as it was not possible to eat. the hero of my dish was the side order of chips.

the espatada was too salty, but the flavour was good. the side that was order was the veg, not good at all

the owner, ismail (as told to us by the waiter) did come to our table while we were eating and asked us how the food was. upon telling him that my chicken was too dry and not edible, all he could tell me was that i should dip the chicken in the peri peri sauce and it will be fine. someone who owns a restaurant should know that the sauce wont solve the problem.

Let's not waste time with unnecessary information about this and that. Let's just get straight to the point of this review and that's to review this restaurant and share my experience there. So without wasting any time let me say that the dishes arrived quickly and both the burger and pasta we ordered were really good. A pretty legit experience all around. Only possible negative I can think of is that the manager was giving me sus looks as a I gulped down 2 glasses of water in the space of about 20 seconds but that's because I hadn't drank water since the day before and it was starting to mess my stomach up so I needed to drink some H2O real quick. Honestly he looked kinda concerned so maybe he was just worried about my wellbeing in which case my opinion of this establishment has increased tenfold maybe...

Small cozy restuarant located in a trendy upmarket neighborhood that serves amazing food and mocktails.... My absolute favourite is a super thin, wood fired pizza named Rustica... It's completely vegetarian but hands down the most delicious pizza in Durban... Loaded with Beetroot, Butternut, Black Mushrooms, Avocadoes, Feta and topped with Fresh Rocket Leaves, this is a must try item when visiting...
