HOME Bistro — Restaurant in Busan

Super laid back vibe inside, like you’re in someone’s real HOME. The lovely herbs scent invites you in and the aroma of home cooking is very tantalizing. The menu is so appealing, I had to order an additional dish. I had the tofu curry katsu and the mushroom jug pow chicken. I wish I had a bigger stomach to try more! You might find different items because the menu is ever rotating. The curry was so soothing and homemade tasting, with lovely textures of crispiness from the tofu. The king pow chicken had a kick and was so satisfying, I was surprised it wasn’t rely meat! I don’t even like mushrooms but I was completly addicted to this! Such a lovely experience at this beautiful restaurant. The vibe and ambience was incredible. It had a very comforting vintage hippy vibe that you could tell had a lot of thought and effort put into crafting. I had the mushroom and rice bowl which was hearty and filled with amazing flavors. My partner had the tofu sandwich and ginger and gin cocktail. I was able to have a conversation with the owner after our dinner and she was incredibly sweet. Her and her brother run the restaurant as a duo. She said the restaurant was crafted from several influences and made to feel like a comforting home. We were trying to choose a restaurant and saw the great reviews for this place. Wow! So glad we decided to try it out. It's 3 floors up and you are welcomed into a very cool, hip place with great music playing in the background. ( If you arrive and no one is around, just take a seat as they are cooking in another room and will attend to you soon.) We ordered the Kung Fu boy Fried mushrooms with salad. I normally wouldn't choose this but we were sharing 2 meals and it was delicious! I could have eaten 2 serves. We also had the pizza. This was flavourful with a delicious crust.
