We chanced upon this famous grilled aged pork restaurants that was near our hotel, serving aged pork in a variety of cuts and of course needless to say, grill to perfection.
The banchan they served is also very different from other Korean restaurants we have been. A milder version of kimchi which makes the grilled pork as the star of the meal.
They do not have an extensive of meat selection but mainly focus on pork belly, pork collar, assortment of pork cuts that include cheek as well.
We pretty much took every cuts they have and on top of that we ordered a bean stew which comes with abundance of ingredients.
The hotpot rice is full of greens while the seasonal item was oyster, we also ordered an oyster hot stone rice with the meal, which was tasty with the spicy banchan.
It was a fantastic combination, everyone enjoyed the different cuts of meat, it tasted really nice with the fermented sauce that goes with the set. You can taste the depth of the aged pork and the crispy outer layer is sooo addictive.
The staff that grilled our meat at the table also recommended other ways of enjoying the dish, by combining their in house kimchi and dried baby shrimps which have been grilled lightly on the grill, the combination was excellent.
Imagine a cold winter night with grill meat and Korean soju, we were all so satisfied with the meal to...

I registered via my email address, instead of a local contact number, as I am a foreigner. A queue number was immediately sent to my email address. We waited about 15 min before being called upon our number to be seated.
We ordered the following: 1x 130g Aged Raw Pork Neck (KRW14000) 2x 130g Aged Raw Pork Belly (KRW14000 each) 1 x Hot Stone Pot Rice (KRW5000) 1 x Miso Soup (KRW4000)
Please note minimum order is 3 meats in order for bbq.
The waitress used a thermometer gun to measure the temperature of the grill set before cooking the meats. The meats are cooked properly. I would commend that the waitress is meticulous in cutting and serving bbq meats in smaller bite sizes for my 5 year old son.
The Hot Stone Pot Rice may look ordinary with vegetables on top of the rice, but it taste good when seasoned with special sauce it came with. To finish off, the leftover scorched rice was soaked with water to create a broth. The rice broth was quite comforting.
The miso soup was a hit for my wife and she managed to finish off almost by herself.
The dinner...
