This was a great brunch option if you’re staying in Haeundae. It’s not a bad walk from the street market and main beach. We arrived around 1pm on a Saturday without a reservation and got pretty lucky with a large table by the window with no wait.
Like many places in Korea, It's a self service restaurant so utensils and water are set at the front and you pay before eating. We waited about 10 minutes for our food. It felt a little long and one came later, but it was all worth the wait. The portions are huge and very well presented. My shakshuka was delicious and spicy how I like. It stayed super hot in the iron pan and I requested sourdough bread along with it. My sisters note was that the poached egg was a little bland. But no big deal. The texture was good. My dad loved the mushrooms. He couldn’t stop talking about it the rest of the trip. Might be a great idea to add them as a side order! Be aware that the kimchi balls looks MUCH less on the qr menu, when they were actually HUGE and even shared, we had a hard time finishing them. though, we tried as they were delicious!
The restaurant has a lot of ambience. Very bright with aesthetic boho pieces and Big glass windows to see out to the street. It’s in an area full of photo opportunities, creative coffee shops, and boutiques. I think Prahran is great for anyone- friends, solo, couples, family as there are small and big tables and a neutral,...
Read moreI had the absolute pleasure of dining at Prahran in Busan, and let me just say—this place is nothing short of amazing. The interior is beautifully designed, exuding a warm, vintage charm with a touch of romance that makes the atmosphere feel both cozy and special.
While the prices may seem a bit high at first glance, the portions are more than generous, making every dish well worth it. They didn't seem to hold back on using the ingredients. I was surprised to see that much avocado and arugula. Which is kind of rare in Korea. And the flavors? Immaculate. Every dish was exquisitely plated and packed with balanced, fresh flavors that showed true craftsmanship. You can tell that a lot of thought and care goes into every bite.
And if that’s not enough proof of how good this place is—a Korean high school sophomore (고2) gave it their seal of approval! Considering how notoriously tough 고2 students are when it comes to food critiques in Korea, that speaks volumes.
If you're in Busan and looking for exceptional food, generous portions, and a beautifully designed space, Prahran is a must-visit....
Read moreI was having an okay morning because I was stuck in the rain without an umbrella with my toddler. I was able to catch an Uber to have breakfast here to wait out the rain.
I am so happy that I chose to go here because everyone here was so nice And that is what I needed that morning.
Not only was everyone so nice but the food was yummy! The reason I picked to go here was because I was craving a fresh breakfast with nothing fried. I ordered the spinach mushroom poached egg with sourdough and it was SO GOOD. I also had a cappuccino which was equally as delicious and came with some beautiful cappuccino art.
To top the entire amazing experience off, one of the workers came out as I was leaving and insisted I take his umbrella in case it rained again.
I will be back to eat and to return your umbrella! Thank...
