Perfect location, friendly staff, really spacious room.
The front desk is located on Floor 2 of the building. It may be a bit confusing but just look for signs for CGV cinema and enter the building then go to the nearest elevator and take it to Floor 2. On 2nd Floor, there will be signs directing you to the W residence office. Then once you check in go back to the elevator to get to your room. (Note: everytime you take the elevator to your room floor, you need to tap your room card on the W residence security scanner(?) in the elevator before you can press the button for your floor- the check-in staff will definitely explain this to you anyway but you can ask them to show you if you're not sure)
Room review: I forgot to take more pictures, but the room looked like an apartment that could be used by a couple or single person. There's a whole living room area with a TV, small dinning area, kitchen, bedroom with another TV, and washroom. There was a washing machine in the veranda attached to the bedroom, but no dryer; instead, there was a clothing rack available. Water bottles and towels were delivered daily.
The location was right across from Haeundae Beach so I could see the beach from my veranda. There was also a station right in front of the hotel building which made transportation very convenient.
Things to note: I arrived pretty late in the evening and the doors to the front desk office were locked so I had to call the hotel staff to open the door. My korean number was a data only plan but I was really desperate and decided to try calling but it went through which was really a welcome surprise. However, if I had no means of making phone calls, I may have been stuck there until the staff showed up. You had to get detergent from the front desk and they only give you three pods at a time that are way smaller than the Tide ones. I was only there for 3 nights so only had one set of laundry to do and the 3 pods were enough but if you are there longer or need more, I think you'd have to get more at the front desk. There was no room cleaning provided. If you wanted your room cleaned it was an additional service fee that cost something like ₩20K per cleaning request. So if you're staying a longer period you'll need to factor the additional cost for cleaning or do it yourself.
Overall though, it was really great value for money and the spaciousness(?) was much appreciated. I definitely recommend them if you're thinking of staying in the...
