‼️ BREAK TIME 3-5 PM ‼️

This was a Real American Texmex OMG restaurant, hence the name rato haha

They had really good options, like bowls, tacos, quesadillas, burritos, nachos, and they even added an enchilada and “fried ice cream” dishes to the menu.

We ordered nachos, pork tacos, and the fried ice cream with a classic margarita, tequila highball, and 2 beers. The margarita was very strong and tasted like a double or triple shot of tequila. We thought it was all really good food 😊

And the outdoor decor was cute with cactus and other southwest America and Mexico themed decor. But the workers were very slow at busing the tables and serving the food. So id recommend sharing the dishes family style / Korean style or one person will finish before the others even...

I never imagined I’d find such incredible Tex-Mex food in Korea, but this place completely blew me away. The food was absolutely outstanding. The tacos were packed with flavor and the guacamole was fresh and zesty.

What really made the experience even better was the staff. They were incredibly friendly, attentive and most spoke English.

Just a heads-up for anyone ordering the beef tacos—they’re not made with ground beef like you might expect. Instead, they use tender, slow-cooked beef brisket, which was surprisingly pretty good.

If you’re looking for something hearty and delicious, I highly recommend giving this place a try. You might be pleasantly surprised like I was!

El Rato is a very pretty restaurant with a friendly and cozy atmosphere! We had a lot of different food and each was extremely delicious, typical mexican. All ingredients were fresh and tasty, especially the Guacamole wit homemade tacos. We also tried the Birria Ramen, which was a crossover between tasty Chilli and Asian Ramen. You also have a lot of vegetarian and vegan dishes and options. The service is also very quick but still relaxed! We enjoyed it very much! They even provided me a blanket since I was cold :-). It is a really lovely...

If you’re hankering for a taste of Mexican, this place hits the spot. While you could say that it’s not fully authentic Mexican nor American TexMex, it’s still delicious. We had the tacos, fajitas, a chicken bowl and the guacamole and chips - a full selection of the menu. The portions are generous, the food is well seasoned and the service is superb. Plus, the restaurant design and atmosphere does transport you to someplace warm and tropical. Definitely a good respite from the crowds to fill your belly!
