This was a Real American Texmex OMG restaurant, hence the name rato haha
They had really good options, like bowls, tacos, quesadillas, burritos, nachos, and they even added an enchilada and “fried ice cream” dishes to the menu.
We ordered nachos, pork tacos, and the fried ice cream with a classic margarita, tequila highball, and 2 beers. The margarita was very strong and tasted like a double or triple shot of tequila. We thought it was all really good food 😊
And the outdoor decor was cute with cactus and other southwest America and Mexico themed decor. But the workers were very slow at busing the tables and serving the food. So id recommend sharing the dishes family style / Korean style or one person will finish before the others even...
Read moreI never imagined I’d find such incredible Tex-Mex food in Korea, but this place completely blew me away. The food was absolutely outstanding. The tacos were packed with flavor and the guacamole was fresh and zesty.
What really made the experience even better was the staff. They were incredibly friendly, attentive and most spoke English.
Just a heads-up for anyone ordering the beef tacos—they’re not made with ground beef like you might expect. Instead, they use tender, slow-cooked beef brisket, which was surprisingly pretty good.
If you’re looking for something hearty and delicious, I highly recommend giving this place a try. You might be pleasantly surprised like I was!
