Maison de Moon — Restaurant in Gyeongju-si

The main dish itself was quite good and reasonably priced. But with the expectation of a "5 star hotel chef" some things fell a bit short.

The menus affixed to the table are unappealing and difficult to use. They should be presented to the diner and removed after ordering.

The main dish was basic with no sides (except for pickled radish). Again, it was good. But just a bit basic.

The bread was, or at least tasted like, some off the shelf baguette. A decent bread isn't that difficult to make and would greatly improve the experience.

Again, if it was a normal restaurant, I would have been quite satisfied. But it over sold itself with the claims that he was a high class...

Among the many Hanok (Korean traditional house) restaurants on Hwangridan-gil, the exterior and interior design are one of the most beautiful places!

The rafters and chandeliers on the high ceilings are wonderful, Italian food at such a pretty hanok restaurant was also special and nice!

The most delicious thing was the gambas that seemed to have 10 shrimps in it, but the sauce as well as the shrimp was so delicious that I even added more bread.

we just completed our 90 day tour of Asia. the highlight of this tour was in Gyeongju, South Korea. Maison De Moon was on our list of restaurant to try as it enjoys high rating. its food was mouth watering and delicious with fresh ingredients. the decoration of the restaurant is simple and elegant. most important of all was the declaration of its dedication to guests. it was carved onto the central wood ceiling beam. the restaurant's commitment to prepare the 5 grains from nature with many heavenly blessings! we were most content and satiated. staff speaks English....
