Even on a rainy weekday, securing a same-day lunch reservation at this restaurant was a real challenge. You'd definitely want to call ahead to check for availability.

I struggled to get a table, but once I tasted the food, I understood exactly why it's so popular. I went with a friend from abroad who adores bibimbap, and he was thrilled with every dish, especially the bibimbap—he couldn't stop smiling about it. While I've never been a huge fan of bibimbap myself as a Korean, the one here was incredible. It was served with steaming hot bulgogi in a separate hot pot, making it delicious even to a Korean palate.

What really made the experience special was the owner, who came to our table when the food arrived. He explained each dish and how to eat it to my friend in fluent English .
