인천 신포동에 위치한 김치찌개 전문식당. 1966년부터 운영중이라고 하니 역사가 제법 긴 식당이라 할수 있겠다. 아침 8시부터 문을 열기 때문에 아침식사를 든든하게 먹을수 있어 좋다. 메뉴는 김치찌개 딱 한가지이고, 자리에 앉으면 인원수대로 밑반찬과 밥과 누룽지를 가져다 준다. 호박볶음, 깻잎나물, 콩나물무침, 버섯볶음, 계란말이, 명태조림, 생채무짐, 시금치나물, 조미김 등 9가지의 반찬이 제공된다. 반찬은 구성이 자주 변경되는것 같다. 김치찌개는 홀 중간쯤 위치에서 커다란 냄비에서 끓여지고 있는 것을 직접 떠다 먹는 독특한 방식이다. 김치찌개는 돼지고기가 들어 있고 약간 신맛이 있으며, 두부가 안들어서 그런지 개운하고 깊은 푹 익힌 맛이다. 찌개는 계속 가져다 먹을수 있는데, 찌개의 맛은 평범하다고 느껴진다. 한번쯤 들러서...
