I had the lunch special at Gobangchae in Yeouido. When I first looked at the price, I had to take a small pause — not exactly cheap. But then I reminded myself, “Hey, this is Yeouido,” and suddenly it felt almost like a discount. For the area, it was actually quite reasonable.

The eel rice bowl gave me that extra boost of energy I was hoping for, while the grilled mackerel landed on top of my rice and instantly switched my chopsticks into autopilot mode. With the taste, the portion, and the magic phrase “considering Yeouido prices”, it turned out to be a pretty satisfying meal.
