I have to give full points for the fare at Logi. There is full attention to detail to both flavour and presentation as well as to their sourcing of produce and the ingredients used. They dry age their meat, and they make prolific use of the hibachi, infusing a smoked flavour into both meat and vegetables. Utterly delicious. Good wine list and the staff are knowledgable on their bottles too (incredibly knowledgable by local standards). Three minor nuisances in the evening were that they had some trouble with their seating, the ambience was a little too dark and I didn’t enjoy the ‘90s pop music they played, a choice of music I found quite bizarre. We ordered an appetizer, AmberJack with slices of pineapple on the top, sea urchin pasta, beef rib and smoked ice cream and marshmello. The amberjack tasted special and it’s worth a try! The beef rib was charcoal grilled and the meat was tender. It cost 88000 won but it was worth it. For me, the most memorable dish was the dessert — smoked ice cream and marshmello! We have seen Logi expand into a bigger restaurant over the course of 6 months upon discovery. I am rooting for their growth as I do see a lot of potential in how they are consistently bettering their service and menu. We have lost count of how many times we have revisited (probably close to 10 by now) and I am very touched by how each member in the kitchen remembers us!
The food here is delicious, intense and creative. I like the fact that they always try to incorporate local flair and seasonal ingredients.
