Poor staff serving manner. Can customer sit down to order within a minute? I was packing my belongings and told the staff to order two meals first and wait for me to take a look of menu. But to my surprise, the staff force me to order 3 meals at one time.
The guests next to my table were even asked by the staff to leave when they have just finished the meals. It is extremely disrespect to guests.
Is it really standard in serving manner for a restaurant with Michelin award? Bad staff no matter how delicious its food. To be honest, its food isn’t good. Not worth to try. Don’t waste money. There should be a restaurant with better staff and good quality than this one. Poor dinning experience that I...
Read moreFound this place after visiting the palace. Ordered the Michelin dish, it was pretty good. I never had it before so I have no point of reference of how it supposed to taste like. It’s quite ‘plain’ until I copied a local on the next table eating it. You’re supposed to mix salt and pepper on the small saucer and dip your chicken here before every bite. Instantly elevates the flavour. Looks like this store has other branches as I found another one nearby. Overall, pretty good, clean bathroom and locals still eat here so it’s not really a tourist trap. Minus points for not explaining how to eat it but...
Read moreI ordered the premium dish specifically because of the eel garnish shown in the menu photo — a generous long shaving on top of the chicken soup. What I actually received was a tiny, pitiful piece that looked nothing like the advertised image. When I questioned the chef, his excuses were laughable: “It’s expensive so we give less” and “The picture is just unrealistic.”
But that’s exactly the point — the dish is already more expensive on the menu, and I willingly paid for it. Customers should get what they are promised, not a watered-down version that looks like a bait-and-switch. The gap between the menu photo and reality was simply too big to ignore.
This place feels like a tourist trap — overpriced, underdelivering, and dismissive when you raise concerns. If you care about honesty and value for money, avoid it.
