성수 바 조디악(ZODIAC) — Restaurant in Seoul

Edit 1 year later: The whole vibe have changed. I guess the bartender makes the bar. Drinks were pretty disappointing this time. Especially the bloody mary, way too spicy and when i brought down bartender just added more tomato juice. Returned the cup after (still paid).

Lost its signature black menu with premium drinks, most made with traditional korean liqours.

Place became pretty popular, but because it became a place for girls to go gaga over the supposedly handsome bartenders. Bar counter was full of ladies when we arrived.

My wife and I hung out till closing previously. We left after 1 (3/4) drink this time.

Its a nice place with cool theme still to try out, but if you dont get the bar counter seats its pretty pointless. Original: Hidden surprised find. Was just walking zig zag around the area after hitting pop up stores and chanced upon this. The exterior drew me in right away.

Were the first customers of the evening and we managed to get best seats for watching the bartender prepare the drinks.

Spoke some English, and made reasonable efforts to communicate. We managed to catch the main bartender on her last day of work here, and very soon it became a mini party as a couple of regulars came and.. "celebrated" her last day with cakes (some sort of tradition). Shots were given. Drank. Laughter were shared.

They have alot of in house cocktails as well which are themed to the place. Music volume very adequate. Dimmed lighting but somehow a blue light always seem to catch the menu at the right angle for you to read.

All the cocktails (had at least 8) were good and special. The best bloody mary we've had so far too.

Will definitely be back when I visit again. Sorry boss did not have time to come back to pass you the frog 🐸

This place is perfect. The atmosphere feels like a fairy tale, that you wish could last forever. The music is nice and different: calm, energetic - does not interfere with the conversation with friends, only adds a pleasant background note. The staff is very friendly and skillful 🫶 The food is fresh and delicious 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 The signature zodiac menu!!!!! Omg, it is a must try experience! Drinks are pricy but we all know that ! It is a great special date spot and maybe new experience with friends since you can taste something new like the zodiac cocktail or have just a regular drink with friends. The staff are really chill and seem down to earth. Location is away from the crowds and the interior is super cool! I would definitely visit again for another...
