슈퍼스타 떡볶이 — Restaurant in Seoul

This excellent tteokbokki restaurant is a must-visit if you're visiting the Yongsan area! It's a quick 3-minute walk from the HYBE building and 8-minute walk from the Shinyongsan subway station.

My friend and I ordered the 1-2 person combo, which was delicious and filling. The combo included the tteokbokki that's cooked at the table, rice and seaweed to make your own rice balls, peach drink, and BTS-related merch like photo cards and posters.

Ordering is done on a tablet at the table, and the menu is available in multiple languages including English. From there, you can select the spice level for your tteokbokki (we ordered the 1.5 level with Shin Ramyun, and it was mildly spicy) and other items to add to your dish or meal. While you're waiting for the food, you can watch concert footage, "Run BTS" episodes, or Bangtan Bombs playing throughout the restaurant.

The service was superb, and the employee was so kind! When we asked if there were any more posters we could have, he gave us a few extra each.

Ate here on the Saturday before Hobi's Birthday - Fantastic food, great service, Excellent place to go whether or not you are a fan of BTS. The prices were quite reasonable. Decor is definitely BTS - BTS plays on the screens at the front of the room, and the set we ordered came with a little BTS merch pack - with stickers. So fun. Food was excellent. My friend (who had been there before) and myself - ordered the set for 2, with pork and fishcakes added, and an order of crispy mandu as well - it was more than the 2 of us could eat, even though we were quite hungry upon arrival. Absolutely delicious, a fun experience too, cooking at the table. Service is brisk, but friendly - as they are quite busy. Located very near the overthe street crosswalk and the elevator, so it was easy to catch a taxi no matter which way we were headed. Don't be afraid of the red sauce! You can totally choose your preferred spice level, and the mild is truly just a tingle! Sooooo delicious and fun to eat! We ordered the BTS meal for 3, and added some extra eggs, tteok, fish cakes, and mozza cheese! There are also completely non spicy options too that I wish I'd had the appetite to try! (Next time!) We were given some posters and photo cards of our Bangtan boys to take home as well! 💜
