Ember Amber 앰버앰버 — Restaurant in Seoul

Ember Amber is a beautiful woodfire restaurant located in Yongsan, Seoul. I visited with my boyfriend and had a really memorable dining experience. The restaurant has a calm, cozy interior and you can feel the warmth from the wooden elements and open kitchen.

We ordered the “4 different kinds of mushroom” and “Pork Wellington.” The mushroom dish was a perfect balance of textures and earthy flavors, served with a piece of toasted sourdough that enhanced every bite. The Pork Wellington was impressive — crispy pastry on the outside, juicy pork tenderloin on the inside, with a surprising layer of perilla leaf which gave a lovely herbal aroma. The sauce was mild yet rich and paired well with the meat.

The service was polite, and each dish was explained with care. This is the perfect place for a romantic dinner or special occasion in Seoul. Definitely recommend making a reservation...

요즘 와인바가 난무하는 시기에 웬만한 이름있는 다이닝 레스토랑만큼 맛있는 음식이 있는 와인바는 오랜만이었습니다. 특히 pork wellington은 beef보다 훨씬 맛있다고 느껴질정도로 고급스럽게 돼지고기 육집이 가득 들어있는 정말 맛있는 디쉬였습니다. 아 그리고 four different mushroom과 crudo는 꼭 에피타이저로 드세요! 입맛을 돋구고 스타트로 최고 입니다. 그 외 감자요리와 라구도..말 할 필요없이 맛났습니다.. 쉐프님이 우드파이어그릴앞에서 정성 스럽게 준비해주시는 모습을 보니 더 믿음이가고 음식도 맛있었던거 같습니다. 등뒤에서 정성이 느껴졌어요.. 정말..잘보이고 싶은 사람이 있다던가 맛있는게 먹고싶을때 꼭 가세요.. 저 또 가고싶은데 너무 자주 가게될거 같아서 쪼금 참다가 또 갈 예정입니다! 외국에서 온 친구도 감탄감탄하고 갔으니 손님대접에도 아주 좋을거 같습니다. 음식얘기에 중요한 와인이 빠졌는데 선택폭도 많고 쉡님이 잘 추천해주시니 맛난 와인 마시고 왔습니다!

If you are looking for a wine bar that offers fine dining-level food, this is THE place. In addition to a great selection of wines, they have an excellent menu to choose the food from. I especially enjoyed the pork Wellington, crudo, and four types of mushrooms. The pork Wellington was incredibly juicy and far better than the traditional beef Wellington. I'll definitely get that everytime. The chef prepares the food over a wooden grill, and it’s very impressive to watch. It also feels like entering a wine cellar in Napa. The atmosphere is very pleasant. Anyone would easily be impressed with everything they offer....

Highly recommended this restaurant. Nice cozy vibe, perfect for date night or night with friends. I had a great dinner here and would love to be back.
