It is the very cafe that I have been missing so much and makes me want to visit Vietnam again. When my family was in Hanoi, Vietnam, we loved their specialties like coconut latte, condensed milk latter, and fruit smoothies. Moreover, we were in love with their unique and brilliant ways of decorating the space. Practically speaking, we stopped by the cafe twice a day and visited almost every branch available within walking distance from our hotel.
So my family was so excited to find out that their branch was launched in Iteawon, Seoul. Great that we don’t have to fly to Vietna to bring the memories of the cafe back to life! The first impression was that the very atmosphere of Kong cafe has not been compromised. Tiny details of the cafe that set it apart from other cafes have been maticulously transplanted to a degree that you mistakenly believe you are right in Hanoi. The walls made of the thrown-out doors! The tables and chairs that look like they are from 80’s! The green and red fabrics found in the cafe! The old sifting basket used as a lampshade! The ladles in a jar in place of flowers! Numerous tiny pictures hanging on the walls! Even some of the goods for sale! I love all these details that define the identity of the cafe.
However, I have a few complaints. The prices of the drinks and desserts are quite pricy. The cakes available in the cafe cost slightly more than $5 (around 7,000won). I am aware that it is located not in Vietnam, but in Iteawon, one of the hot places in Seoul, but it is still hard to take the fact in. Another disappoint was that the roof top area looks like it has been abandoned for a while. I was also under the impression that the second floor is poorly managed and maintained compared to the first floor where the kitchen and counter are located.
Sincerely, I hope that the cafe improves and expands throughout Korea to bring its distinctive...

It had its own unique vibe and style. The only downside was that we had to wait for our coffee for five minutes because it was quite busy...
